CUBE DISPENSER
DOES NOT WORK
Check if...
No ice cubes, or not enough ice cubes,
in the bin.
Ice cubes are stuck together in the ice bin.
Then...
Allow at least 24 hours for ice to replenish the ice bin
to a level sufficient for ice dispensing.
When ice is not used for a long time or if there is a power
failure, ice cubes may become stuck together. Throw away
the ice clump, wipe out the ice bin, and allow 24 hours for
ice to replenish.
DOOR IS DIFFICULT
TO OPEN
Check if...
Door has just been closed.
Door gasket may be stuck.
Then...
It may be difficult to open the refrigerator or freezer door
within 5-10 seconds of closing it, due to pressure difference
between the outside and inside of the appliance. Try again
after a few more seconds.
Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly to the door gasket at
the hinge side. This helps keep the gasket from sticking and
bending out of shape.
MOISTURE
BUILDUP
ON THE OUTSIDE
OF THE REFRIGERATOR
AND ON THE INTERIOR
LAMP COVER
Check if...
Then...
The refrigerator and/or freezer door has been open
for a long time.
When the refrigerator door is open for a long time, the lamp
inside the refrigerator compartment lamp cover will warm the
cover and produce condensation. Wipe it dry. Holding open
the freezer door for a long time may result in condensation
on the exterior of the refrigerator. Wipe it dry.
The room humidity is high.
In humid conditions, moisture in the air may condense on the
exterior of the refrigerator. Wipe it dry.
