    Daten werden gelöscht und stehen nicht mehr zur Verfügung. FEHLERMELDUNGEN Um einen sichern Ablauf eines Lade- bzw. Entladevorganges zu gewährleisten, ist das Power Peak ULTIMATE 2 mit Sicherheitsvorrichtungen ausgestattet. Sobald ein Fehler auftritt, erscheint eine entsprechende Meldung im Display und der Piezzo-Summer gibt einen schrillen Warnton ab.

    Ladegerät getrennt, Vorgang stoppen, Verbindung zum Chip überprüfen und neu starten ALLGEMEINE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE • Das Power Peak ULTIMATE 2 ist nur zum Laden bzw. Entladen von wiederaufladbaren NC- / NiMH- / Blei- und Lithium-Akkus geeignet. Keine Trockenbatterien laden, dabei besteht Explosionsgefahr.

    • Achten Sie unbedingt auf richtige Polung der Akkus und vermeiden Sie Kurzschlüsse. • Beachten Sie genau die Angaben der Akkuhersteller. • Überprüfen Sie die Einstellungen am Power Peak ULTIMATE 2 stets genau. Akkus können durch unpassende Einstellungen zerstört werden.

Vor der Aufladung sollten die Zellen daher unbedingt abkühlen. Eine warme oder gar heiße Zelle nimmt weniger Ladung auf und kann dementsprechend auch weniger Energie abgeben.

Sie stellt den Zusammenhang zwischen dem Ladestrom und der Akkukapazität her. Wenn z.B. ein Akku mit einer Kapazität von 600 mAh mit einer Rate von '1 C' gela- den werden soll, muss ein Strom von 600 mA fließen.

POWER PEAK ULTIMATE 2 8470 LAGERUNG Soll ein NiMH-Akku auf absehbare Zeit nicht benutzt werden, so ist er kühl und trocken zu lagern (10 bis 30°C), dabei sollte der Akku vor der Einlagerung mindestens eine Kapazität von 30...100 % besitzen. Dann erhält der Akku schon nach einer Formierung fast seine volle Kapazität.

POWER PEAK ULTIMATE 2 8470 13.3 BLEI-AKKUS (PB) Im Modellbaubereich sind die Bleiakkus als Antriebsbatterien mehr und mehr durch die schnellladefähigen und leichteren NC-Akkus verdrängt worden. Als Starterbatterie, Stromquelle für mobile 12 Volt - Ladegeräte, für Hochstartwinden sowie im Schiff- modellbaubereich sind sie jedoch noch unverzichtbar.

POWER PEAK ULTIMATE 2 8470 ENTLADESCHLUSSSPANNUNG, TIEFENTLADUNG Bleiakkus sind sehr empfindlich gegen Tiefentladung, was zu Kapazitätsverlust und Verkürzung der Lebensdauer führt und müssen sofort nach Gebrauch wieder vollgela- den werden, um eine dauerhafte Schädigung zu vermeiden. Die Entladeschluss- spannung von 1,75 Volt pro Zelle (bei 20°C) sollte nicht unterschritten werden.

POWER PEAK ULTIMATE 2 8470 LAGERUNG Lipoly Zellen besitzen eine extrem geringe Selbstentladungsrate (ca. 0,2% pro Tag) und können deshalb problemlos über lange Zeit gelagert werden. Vor längerer Lagerung soll- ten sie jedoch auf ca. 50-80 % aufgeladen werden. Nach ca. 4-6 Monaten sollte erneut nachgeladen werden.
