READING OUT THE DATA ON A BID CHIP / BID KEY
If you have a battery with a BID chip and connect it to the charger, the following battery
data can be read out to give you an accurate display of the battery's state.

CHARGE / DISCHARGE PROCESSES WITH A BID CHIP / KEY

The BID chip / key is so small that it can easily be kept safe amongst the accessories of
any battery charger. The pictures on the next page show methods of attaching a BID chip
and a BID key.
Operating instructions
Compact 6S EQ Duo Power
When you have finished entering the parameters,
you must conclude the procedure by pressing the
'ENTER' button once more; this stores the new
values permanently in the BID chip. If data has
been changed during the entry procedure, the
screen first displays a security query: to store the
data you have to change the answer to 'YES'
using the '+' or '-' button, and then press the
'ENTER' button.
Data is stored on the BID chip / BID key, and can
be read out.
Pressing the '+' button twice displays the first para-
meter on the screen: this is the capacity of the cur-
rent charge or discharge process.
Pressing the '+' button twice more displays the
second parameter on the screen: this is the maxi-
mum capacity value from all charge / discharge
processes.
Pressing the '+' button twice more displays the final
parameter: this is the number of charge cycles and
the programmed date.
