Please make sure that you have installed a software version,
which supports the Truck procedure. Requirements are software
2.0 and databank year minimum 2005. In case of retrofitting the
truck function, it is necessary, as the case may be, to run the
databank upgrade 1 987 009 AS5N.
On the other hand it is not necessary to carry out special
modifications in the setup of the program.
The chassis bar and the support for the drawbar tailer, which are
delivered as special accessories in the sets 1 987 009 A60N /
A61N, are normally mounted and dismounted after each align-
ment.

Retrofit Kit 1 987 009 A37N for NTS 5xx

5.1

General

The Retrofit Kit may be mounted in already installed monitor
cabinets of the NTS 5xx starting from FD: 01/2001 and up to and
including software version V3.70. Operating system Windows
ME or XP is taken for granted. Hardware prerequisite: one free
USB port plus one free or external COM port.
These mounting instructions are meant for qualified electricians.
