7) Driver installation
i The driver installation must be carried out in accordance with
the following instructions and installation steps without fail:
If the test line is operated with a PC 0 986 400 U08N,
or ...U13N (Dell), please skip step 7 and continue with
step 8).
Make sure that the COM and USB cable of the electric sheet
are not connected to the PC.
Connect the power plug of the electric sheet.
After restoring the power to the monitor cabinet start-up the
PC. Complete all programs started.
Load the axle measuring CD 1 689 009 AS6N in the PC. The
installation routine starts-up automatically.
On the screen, the language selection options are displayed;
abort this process with „Cancel".
Open the Explorer and the directory 'D:\driver\setup.bat' on the
CD.
In order to continue with the installation press „y" , to quit the
process enter „n".
Always click on OK as soon as the RegSvr32 messages appear.

You will now be asked whether to connect the USB box.
DO NOT enter „y" here at any rate!!
Now, connect the COM and USB cable of the electric sheet to the
PC. Your system will identify the new hardware.
First complete the installation of the new hardware, then enter „y"
in the black box on the screen.
The installation of the new hardware must be completed
first before you enter „y" in the black box on the screen.
