IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
cONcERNING STORAGE AND
MAINTENANcE OF SUNBEAM
STORING THE IRON & SUPPlY cORD
In order to preserve the service life and ensure the safety of the electric supply
cord, it is important that it is folded correctly when storing the iron after use.
The following instructions must be followed:
1. Lay the cord out in a straight line
so that the plug can move freely. Hold
the cord in one hand approximately
40cm from the iron.

2. With the other hand gently pull in the
cord following its natural curves / wrap
to produce loops of approximately
30 cm in length. During this procedure
make sure that the cord can untwist
itself freely.

3. Once the plug is reached, push the
folded cord carefully through the iron
handle. (The process takes no more
than 30 seconds to do properly).

It is imperative that the supply cord is
NOT twisted, coiled or bent forcefully.
The cord MUST be folded GENTLY.
