SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The Pro Tect 213 soccer net is specially designed for use in conjunction with a
HUDORA goal with the dimensions 213 x 152 cm. Mounting onto goals of other makes
is strictly not recommended for safety reasons. The following safety instructions apply
accordingly for use in combination with a HUDORA goal:
• WARNING! Not suitable for children under 36 months due to long cords! Strangu-
lation Hazard.
• Prior to use, check all parts of the goal for damages and correct assembly. In this
regard, it is important to check the connecting elements and screw connection
for stability and fit. Any sharp edges that might have formed must immediately be
removed!
• Warning: do not climb on the goal frame or net or hang from the goal posts. There
is a serious risk of injury!
• Children should only use the product when they are under adult supervision.
• No liability is assumed for damages resulting from incorrect application of the
instruction manual.
INSTRUCTIONS ON ASSEMBLY
Note: The product should be mounted by 2 adults. The soccer net must be installed
together with a goal. It cannot be mounted subsequently to an already built goal. Also
observe the notes from the instructions for construction and use of the soccer goal.
Installation of the foam tubes and the goal net (Fig. 1 - 3)
Remove any foam tubes as well as the soccer net from the packaging and insert these
in the correct order. Make sure that the HUDORA lettering on the frame in the frame
sheath is positioned centrally on the crossbar. It may be easier to first guide the foam
tubes and only then the goal poles through the respective tunnel loops. To ensure a
smooth construction and in particular the covering of the frame, you must observe the
following installation sequence:
Step 1: There are two of each of the goal poles 1, 2 and 3 (Fig. 1), once for the lower
frame and once for the crossbar. Push one of these goal poles in the tunnel loop A of
the goal net (Fig. 2). Then connect the goal poles by the clicking connections and close
the tabs G located there using the hook and loop fastening strips.
Step 2: Slide the goal poles 7 and 8 into the tunnel loops B of the goal net. To simplify
the installation, you can open the hook and loop fasteners straps on the tunnel loops.
Close the click connections between the goal poles 7 and 2 as well as 8 and 1.
Step 3a: Slide goal pole 4 with the foam tubes 2 (Fig. 3) into the tunnel loop D (the slot
in the foam tubes is located at the rear top) and the goal pole 6 with the foam tube 4
into tunnel loop C (the slot in the foam tubes is located on the rear bottom). Connect
both goal poles 4 and 6 as well as 6 and 7 using the click connections.
All images are examples of the design.
Step 3b: Follow the same procedure for the opposite goalposts. Slide goal pole 5 with
the foam tubes 2 into the tunnel loop D (the slot in the foam tubes is located at the
rear top) and the goal pole 6 with the foam tube 4 into tunnel loop C (the slot in the
foam tubes is located on the rear bottom). Connect both goal poles 5 and 6 as well as
6 and 8 using the click connections.
Step 4: Slide the each still free goal poles 1, 2 and 3 with the three foam tubes 3 into
the tunnel loops E. The HUDORA lettering is centrally positioned. Connect the goal
poles by clicking connections to each other.
Step 5: Connect goal poles 1 and 4 as well as 2 and 5 using the click connections.
Step 6a: The goal poles 9, 10, 11 and 12 are present twice, once for the left goal
side and once for the right side. Connect the goal poles to each other by means of the
click connections. Now then connect goal poles 9 and 4 as well as 12 and 7 from the
inside out by means of the screws and the nuts. The tunnel loop on goal post 7 can be
partially opened, which makes it easier to reach the screw connection.
Step 6b: Follow the same procedure for the opposite goalposts. Connect the other
goal posts 9, 10, 11 and 12 to each other using the click connections. Then also
connect goal poles 9 and 5 as well as 12 and 8 from the inside out by means of the
screws and the nuts. The tunnel loop on goal post 8 can be partially opened, which
makes it easier to reach the screw connection.
Step 7: Install the four foam tubes 1 between the tunnel loops at the points F and then
close the tabs located there using the hook and loop fasteners.
Step 8: In order to tighten the goal net further, close the three hook and loop fasteners
attached to the net around the goal poles 9, 10 and 11.
Step 9: Also close the hook and loop connections on the corners of the goalpost poles
1 and 2 and on the corners of the goalpost poles 1 and 2 on the lower frame.
Step 10: You can control the net tightness with the pulling line that is also provided.
Thread this through the net at the height of the rear goal corner and attach the line to
the rear goal corner.
