IMPORTANT
• Read these instructions before using the appliance.
• Make sure that the mains supply coincides with the voltage shown on the
appliance specifications plate.
• Do not use the straightener on wet hair.
• The plates reach up to 200° C and the plastic near the plates, except for the
cool touch points shown in figure 1(4), will also be hot. Do not allow the
hot parts to come close to the skin to avoid possible burns.
• Do not use near bathtubs, sinks, or other recipients containing water.
• Disconnect the appliance when not in use.
• Do not wet the appliance or submerge it in water.
• If the flexible power-supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a
technical service centre authorized by the manufacturer, since this requires
special tools.
• To avoid damage, make sure the cable does not come into contact with the
plates when they are hot.
• Under no circumstances should you use flammable substances (gel, etc.) on
your hair before using the straightener.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when connected. Keep out of
the reach of children.

USER INSTRUCTIONS
• Place the straightener on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
• Plug it in. When it is switched on (figure 1(1)), the red pilot light (figure
1(2)) will come on to indicate that the straightener is working.
