If the luid level in the tank is close to
minimum, make a visual check of brake
pad wear. If the brake pads are not worn,
there may be a leak in the hydraulic cir-
cuit. Contact a Benelli assistance centre
for an inspection as soon as possible.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Incorrect maintenance may cause a
brake capacity reduction.
Respect the following precautions:
Insuficient brake luid may cause
air to enter the brake circuit, caus-
ing a reduction in brake perfor-
mance.
Clean the iller cap before removing
it. Only use DOT 4 brake luid.
Only use the prescribed brake luid,
as per the speciications. Any other
type could cause the rubber seals
to deteriorate, leading to leaks.
Top up with the same type of brake
luid. Adding a different type of
brake luid from DOT 4 may cause
a noxious reaction.
Do not allow water or dust to enter
the brake luid tank while reilling.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Brake luid can damage painted surfac-
es or plastic parts. Clean
any spilled liquids immediately.
Since brake pads become worn, it is
normal for the luid level in the tank to
drop gradually. If the brake luid level
is low it is possible that the brake pads
are worn and/or that there is a leak in
the brake circuit; therefore, make sure to
check the brake pads for wear and to
look for leaks in the brake circuit.
