Recipe set-up for a single head or for the machine
To assign a recipe to one or more heads select MENU, SET X and then RECIPE NUM.*Y:
where "x" is the number of the head to which a given recipe is assigned, while "y" is the
number of the recipe that is being set up. If "x" is assigned the value "all" it means that
all the heads will be assigned that particular recipe.
Language and unit of measurement set-up
To display or change the language and the unit of measurement select SETTINGS and
then LANGUAGE or UNIT.
The language can be "English" or "Italian" and the unit of measurement can be "metric"
or "imperial".

Instructions

a) Winding before dyeing
For cone-to cone winding, pass the yarn over the yarn guide 8 fig.10, into the yarn guide
9 fig. 10, through the yarn tensioner 20 fig.10, between the restraints 10 and 11 fig.10 and
the slub catcher 14 fig.10 then into the yarn guide 12 fig.10 and underneath the restraint
13 fig.10. If the tension is insufficient, adjust it by moving the restraint 10 fig.10, setting
it against the spaced holes. To position the restraint, pull the knob (15 fig. 10) out of its
current hole and position it in one of the successive holes.
a-1) Winding after dyeing
For cone-to cone winding, pass the yarn over the yarn guide 8 fig.10, into the yarn guide
9 fig. 10, behind the yarn tensioner pin 20 fig.10, between the restraint 11 fig.10 and the
slub catcher 14 fig.10, into the waxing device 24 fig.10, into the yarn guide 12 fig.10 and
underneath the restraint 13 fig.10.
For better tensioning, use the restraint (10 fig.10) as well.
b) Braking before dyeing
To obtain more or less soft cones, adjust the yarn tensioner 10 fig. 10 as explained in
point "a", remembering that the higher the number of the graduated scale in line with
which the restraint 10 fig.10 is positioned away from the slub catcher (fig.14), the higher
UK
the tension.
The same effect is achieved if the speed is increased.
If a higher tension value is required with the restraint 10 fig.10 already in the highest
position, increase the speed or increase the yarn tensioner setting (20 fig.10).
b-1) Braking after-dyeing
In the after-dyeing version, the yarn tensioner setting is adjusted as described above; it
is generally best to set the yarn tensioner (20 fig.10) to its minimum setting, since it has
the purpose of cutting out the tension on the yarn (especially for steeper yarns).
However, you can also increase the tension with the tensioner by lowering it. The knob
is easy to remove for cleaning.
c) Slubcatching
To adjust the slub catcher 14 fig.10 unscrew the screws 16 fig.10 and position the slub
catcher 14 fig.10 at the required distance from the restraint 11 fig.10, adjusting the distance
