Commissioning

TAKE CARE
• Read through the Operating Instructions Manual carefully
before starting to commission.
• The pump may only be commissioned after it has been
correctly installed.
• The pump may only be operated with the transparent cover
in place.
• Protect yourself against potentially hazardous chemicals
(safety goggles, protective clothing etc.).
Detach the discharge hose
Run the pump until the pump hose has filled. If the pump fails to
prime, loosen the pump hose
Once the pump hose is full, switch off the pump
Reconnect the pump hose to the hose connector
Run the pump for a short period
Check the hose connections and the pipework for leaks.

Maintenance

CAUTION
• The rotating motor can trap fingers.
• Disconnect the pump from the power supply and ensure
that it cannot be switched on again while work is being
carried out on the equipment.
TAKE CARE
• Protect yourself against potentially hazardous chemicals
(safety goggles, protective clothing etc.).
Depressurise the system.
If the peristaltic pump that has been used with effervescent
or sticky chemicals has not been in operation for a long period, you
should check that the metering, suction and discharge hoses are in
a fit condition for further use.
