2) Before cleaning the handpiece, insert the
protective cap in place of the light guide to
prevent any liquid entering the handpiece.
3) After each use, check thoroughly that no composite
residue has adhered to the light guide. Remove any
residue immediately and check that the surface of
the light guide has not been altered. If damage is
detected, replace the light guide, as the power of the
curing light could be reduced significantly.
4) Under normal conditions of use, the power of the
curing light does not vary if the battery is properly
charged. Consequently there is no need to check the
power as in the case of ordinary curing lights.
However, if in doubt, check the power using the
Wattmeter.
5) The battery unscrews from the handpiece for
replacement.
6) Remove the light guide to check that the LED is clean
and undamaged. Clean it with a dry air jet if
necessary.
7) Never use an ultrasound bath for cleaning the C
2 or its accessories.
8 - TROUBLESHOOTING
If a problem appears, please check the following doings:
1) Check that the base station is connected properly to
the mains to ensure that the battery recharges
normally. If the LED is not lit up in spite of proper
connection, contact the after sales service.
2) Check that the battery indicator shows that it is fully
charged before pressing the On/Off button. If the LED
is red, an automatic safety mechanism will stop the
device from being activated. In this case, recharge
your battery by replacing the handpiece on the base
station, or just replace with a second fully charged
battery.
3) Intensive use of the lamp will generally cause a rise
in its external temperature that can be felt by the
hand holding it. This is absolutely normal. If the
temperature inside the C
an automatic safety mechanism will stop the lamp,
and the status indicator will flash red. Leave the
device for a few minutes to cool down and then carry
on as normal.
4) If the wattmeter control LED is red, check that the
LED and the light guide are clean. Use a jet of dry air
to remove any dust. If the problem persists or if the
light guide is damaged, the C
returned to the after-sales service department.
Your dealer's after sales service is at your disposal to
help with any technical problem.
