Prepare a work bench (Fig. 9)
Since the blade will extend beyond the lower surface
of the material, place the material on a work bench
when cutting. If a square block is utilized as a work
bench, select level ground to ensure it is properly
stabilized. An unstable work bench will result in
hazardous operation.

CAUTION
To avoid possible accident, always ensure that
the portion of material remaining after cutting is
securely anchored or held in position.

Check battery insertion
WARNING
If the battery is inserted while the power switch
is in the ON position, the power tool will start
operating immediately, inviting serious accident.
CAUTION
Until the battery locks in place with a little click,
if not, it may accidentally fall out of the tool
causing injury to you or someone around you.
OPERATION
WARNING
Never touch the moving parts.
Never operate the Jig saw with the blade turned
upward or to the side.
CAUTION
To extend the lifetime, the lithium-ion battery
equips with the protection function to stop the
output. Therefore, if the tool is overloaded, the
motor may stop. However, this is not the trouble
but the result of protection function. In this case,
release the switch of tool and eliminate the
causes of overloading.
Don't remove jig saw from workpiece during a
cut while the blade is moving.
Pull out the battery after completing operation.
In order to prevent blade dislodging, damage
or excessive wear on the Plunger, please make
sure to have surface of the base plate attached
to the work piece while sawing.

At low speed do not cut a wood with a thickness of
more than 3/8" (10 mm) or metal with a thickness of
more than 1/32" (1 mm).
NOTE
Take care not to lock the motor. If the motor is locked,
immediately turn the power off . If the motor is locked
for a while, the motor or battery may be burnt.

Switch operation
(1) Lock-off button (Fig. 10)
The jig saw is equipped with a lock-off button. To
turn the jig saw ON, keep the lock off button pressed
down and squeeze the switch. To turn it OFF, release
the switch.
CAUTION
Do not fi x and secure the lock off button. Besides,
keep your fi nger off the switch trigger when the
jig saw is being carried around. Otherwise, the
switch can be inadvertently turned ON, resulting
in unexpected accidents.

(2) Switch (Fig. 11)
The number of strokes of the blade can be adjusted
to within the range of 0 to 2,400 strokes/minute
depending on the amount the switch is pulled. In
addition, releasing the switch activates a break that
stops the blade immediately.
When the switch is turned on, an LED lamp lights to
illuminate the end of the blade. This lamp goes out
when the switch is released.
