7.3 Transport and storage

During transport, pay attention that the adaptation system does not become wet and that
contact with road salt or similar substances is prevented.
•
The adaptation systems must be adequately secured during transport so that slipping and
damage is reliably prevented.
•
Accident prevent regulations and safety rules must be observed.
Damage due to transport and storage is to be reported to the line manager and to
RK Rose+Krieger GmbH immediately.
The product is to be checked by qualified staff for visual and functional damage.
It is forbidden to put damaged adaptation systems into operation.
The following ambient conditions are specified for storing the adaptation systems and accesso-
ries:
•
no air containing oil
•
contact with solvent-based paints must be avoided
•
lowest/highest ambient temperature: -20 °C/+60 °C
•
formation of ice is not permitted.
Divergent environmental influences must be approved by RK Rose+Krieger GmbH.

7.4 Important information on installation and start up

•
The adaptation system must not be provided with additional drilled holes.
•
The adaptation system must not be used outside.
•
The adaptation system must be protected against moisture.
•
You must not open the adaptation system.
•
lowest/highest ambient temperature: +5° Celsius/+40° Celsius
•
Relative humidity: falling below the dew point is not permitted.
•
The stand and support surface rest on each other completely.
•
When installing the adaptation system -bottom- without press-off plate, the
base must be made from a metal surface with a minimum thickness of 5 mm.
