7.1 Transport and storage

Damage due to transport and storage is to be reported to the line manager and to
RK Rose+Krieger GmbH immediately.
The product is to be checked by qualified staff for visual and functional damage.
It is forbidden to start up damaged controllers.
The following environmental conditions are laid down for controller storage:
•
contact with paints containing solvents must be avoided
•
lowest/highest ambient temperature: -25°C/+60°C
•
relative humidity in storage: falling below the dewpoint is not allowed

7.1.1 Battery storage

•
Before storage, a battery should be charged fully and isolated from all electrical consumers.
•
A battery also discharges during storage and should be recharged after 6 months at the latest.
•
Ambient conditions for storage: Temperature: +10°C to +40°C, relative humidity: 25% to
85%
•
A battery ages during storage and should be used as quickly as possible.
•
During storage, take care that the battery contacts are not short-circuited by conducting
objects.
Divergent environmental factors must be approved by RK Rose+Krieger GmbH.
