7.3 Using the battery

7.3.1 Using the 1.2Ah battery
Place the 1.2Ah battery with the side on which the lead is
fed out on the housing and then engage the opposite side.
7.3.2 7Ah battery
The 7Ah battery is connected to the controller as shown in
the picture.
Under no circumstances should you connect a 1.2Ah battery to a controlled which
is set for a 7Ah battery. There is a risk of explosion owing to the obviously excessive
charging current.

7.4 Commissioning

The battery must be charged for at least 24 hours before commissioning.
The controller will be powered from the battery automatically in case of a mains failure once
a charged battery is plugged in.
The battery is protected by a protection function against damage caused by total discharge.
The battery must be recharged no later than a week after the protection function is activated
or the battery will be damaged by total discharge.
An audible warning indicates that the battery capacity is exhausted and that it should be char-
ged.
