Structure
Control panel of the IR remote control
Idle state (standby)
Keep button pressed for 2 s: switches

the Tubus 1 to idle state. Press this
button again to quit idle state.
Reset transverse adjustment
Keep button pressed for 2 seconds:
2 Resets the transverse adjustment.
The laser beam automatically moves
back to the middle of the unit's axis.
Left arrow
Swing the laser beam to the LEFT

(when using the remote control form
the target side)
Align function

Activate / deactivate the align function
Lock / Unlock laser
This button can be used to lock or
5 unlock the controls ON THE LASER.
The current state is displayed in the
LCD
LED On / Off
Switches On the LED on the top of
the housing (centre of rotation). This
is used for correct alignment outside

the pipe invert.
Press button again to switch Off. The
LED automatically switches Off again
after 20 minutes.
Right arrow
Swing the laser beam to the RIGHT

(when using the remote control form
the target side).
LED function display
The LED flashes green when a button
8 is pressed and the IR signal is sent.
This LED flashes red if the battery is
low.
Initial Startup / Charge Batteries
TUBUS 1
When starting up the TUBUS 1 for the first time, charge the integrated set of rechargeable
batteries (Li-Ion) using the charger supplied. The charger socket is located below the handle,
behind a rubber cap. A green LED indicates power; it is not a charging indicator. The charging
process takes 5h maximum.
The laser can be used while charging, but the charging time may increase (up to 9 hours).
Important!
Only use the charger supplied.
IR remote control
The remote control is delivered with batteries inserted (3 x AA).
