Fixing the hood to the wall unit: Drill the holes in the base of the
wall unit as shown in fig. 1 (do not consider the thickness of the
wooden panel).
In the "Extraction version" drill a hole of a suitable diameter in
the base and top of the wall unit, large enough for the exhaust pipe
to pass (Fig. 2-8) . From the inside of the wall unit, insert the 4
screws M 4.2x35 supplied with the kit (fig. 8) and screw them onto
the roof of the hood.
If the wall unit is deeper than the hood, apply the spacer P at the
back of the hood, using the 2 screws T 3.5x9.5 supplied with the kit
(fig. 10).
This part is reversible to cover a space from 1 to 4 cm.

Maintenance
Cleaning
Clean using ONLY a cloth dampened with neutral liquid detergent.
DO NOT CLEAN WITH TOOLS OR INSTRUMENTS. Do not use
abrasive products. DO NOT USE ALCOHOL!
Grease filter
Traps cooking grease particles.
The grease filter must be cleaned once a month using non
aggressive detergents, either by hand or in the dishwasher, which
must be set to a low temperature and a short cycle. When washed
in a dishwasher, the grease filter may discolor slightly, but this
does not affect its filtering capacity.
To remove the filter M, open the grate, remove the stops L and
extract it (fig. 11).
When cleaning the grease filter, also wash the grate with warm
water and biodegradable detergent.
Charcoal filter (filter version only)
Fig. 9
It absorbs unpleasant odors caused by cooking.
The saturation of the charcoal filter occurs after more or less
prolonged use, depending on the type of cooking and the regularity
of cleaning of the grease filter.
In any case it is necessary to replace the cartridge at least every
four months.
The charcoal filter may NOT be washed or regenerated.
For the disassembly, turn counter-clockwise.
Replacing lamps
Remove the suction gril to access the lamp area.
Replace the damaged lamp.
Use E14 3W max LED lamps only. For more details, check
enclosed leaflet "ILCOS D" (alfanumeric position "1d").
Put the grill back.
If the lights do not work, make sure that the lamps are fitted
properly into their housings before you call for technical assistance.
