Changing batteries, time and manual adaption

When it becomes necessary to change the batteries this will be indicated by
flashing. You can use the following batteries with the HR 40:
Type
AA battery
1.5 V Accu
Lithium-battery
1. Remove the control unit.
2. Open the battery compartment in the underside of the control unit
(see Fig. F).
3. Remove the old batteries and dispose of with consideration for the
environment.
4. Insert two batteries into the battery compartment of the control unit making
sure the polarity is correct.
Note: If you insert the batteries incorrectly, this could cause the batteries to
discharge.
5. Close the battery compartment and click it in place.
6. Insert the control unit.
Note: If it takes too long to change the batteries or the control unit is not
pulled out, you will need to reset the time.
