• Therapys with the MEDISANA TDD do not replace medical diagnosis or
treatment. Ask you doctor for each kind of pain or disease, before using the
device.
A TENS therapy should only be done according to instructions of your
doctor or the recommendations of application in the TENS therapy book.
• Do not use the device if you have a pacemaker or other implants or prosthetic
materials in your body.
• If irregularities of the heart or heart diseases are known (e.g. arrhythmia or
myocardial defects), you should not apply the device.
• Persons, whose sensitivity is disturbed or impaired may only apply the devi-
ce according to the instructions of a physician.
• Do not apply the device near the larynx.
• Do not apply the MEDISANA TDD during the operation of a machine or
while driving a car.
• If the device shows obvious damages at the housing or the LCD display, send
it to your specialist shop or directly to MEDISANA for repair.
• Do not use damaged or defect lines to the electrode; there is danger of
electric shock.
• When using the MEDISANA TDD device for commercial use, a safety
control has to be carried out every 2 years at an authorized service office or
directly at MEDISANA (MPBetreibV = operator directive).
Informations about the electrodes:
• Do not place the electrodes to open skin parts.
• Take off the electrodes before taking a bath or swimming.
• Use separate electrodes for each user.
• In case of skin irritation, stop the treatment and consult a physician.
Please check first whether the device is complete.
The MEDISANA TDD includes:
• 1 Tens unit with belt clip, 4 electrodes,
• 2 connecting cables, 2 batteries and 1 storage box
• 1 TENS therapy booklet, 1 instruction manual
Stimulation current can be used:
1. to fight pain (TENS = Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation)
2. to build up the muscles
(EMS = Electrical Muscle Stimulation)
3. as electro-acupuncture.
