Pulse width
The value of pulse width indicates how long the current for each pulse part is
sent with the set intensity strength (also see diagram 6). The value is given in
µs (= microseconds = 1/1.000.000 sec). The smaller the value the shorter the
sending time of the respective pulse part.
5
Frequency
The frequency shows how many pulses per second are being generated.
The frequency is given in Hz (= 1 pulse unit/second). The higher the frequency
value the more often current pulses are sent in one second.
CAUTION
The respective setting of the pulse width and frequency can
result in
a feeling of the current as "stronger" or "lower",
even if the intensity, i.e. the current strength, is not changed.
Adjust - according to the goal of therapy (also see the
enclosed TENS therapy booklet) - the values so that the
application is always pleasant.

Current selection
This display is set with the key B (also see "B Wave/current selection").
The two bi-phasic and the mono-phasic current selections are displayed as
follows:
1. Biphasic Pulse Shape
2. Biphasic Pulse Shape
Monophasic Pulse Shape

Battery display

The two battery symbols start to blink, when the batteries are almost empty.
Exchange the batteries, as described in "Inserting/changing batteries". If you
use the device frequently, it is recommended to use rechargeable storage
batteries. The battery symbols, however, will then start after a shorter period
of time, as the storage batteries have a lower cell voltage than alkali-
manganese cells.
