hand pull the headgear (e) over and behind the head (Fig.B2).
4.3 Connect the two lower straps of the headgear (e) to the hooks.
Ensure the lower straps are under ears (Fig.B3).
4.4 Gently tighten the straps to ensure stability of the mask, first the
strap on the head, second the upper straps (on the forehead) and
third the lower straps (Fig.B4).
Notes:
- Repeat steps if necessary
- The lower straps are intented to hold the mask in position. To
ensure the stability of the mask, they must not be kept too loose.
4.5 Connect the swivel connector (d) to the device tubing and then
switch on the device at the prescribed pressure (Fig.B5).
4.6 Lye down in resting position and readjust the forehead straps
(Fig.B6).
5 – REMOVING THE MASK (Fig.C)
5.1 Disconnect both lower straps of the headgear (e) from the mask
frame hooks (Fig.C1).
Note: Keep the hook tabs in position in order to keep your
settings for the next time.
5.2 Pull the mask up from the nose and lift the headgear (e) over the
head (Fig.C2).
6 – DISASSEMBLING THE MASK (Fig.D)
Note: Before disassembling the mask, disconnect the patient circuit
from the mask.
6.1 Disconnect the straps of the headgear (e) from the mask frame
(b) (Fig.D1).
Note: Do not undo the hook tabs in order to keep the setting for the
next time.
6.2 Separate the cushion (a) from the mask frame (b) (Fig.D2).
6.3 Disconnect the elbow (c) from the mask frame (b) (Fig.D3).
6.4 Disconnect the swivel connector (d) from the elbow (c) (Fig.D4).

7 - CLEANING THE MASK
7.1 – CLEANING AT HOME FOR REUSE BY THE SAME PATIENT
First, disassemble all the components (see DISASSEMBLING THE
MASK).
After each use:
Carefully clean the cushion (a) and the mask frame (b) in warm water
(about 30°C) using mild soap. Thoroughly rinse under the tap and
leave in the air to dry, out of direct sunlight.
Every 7 days:

(e) in warm water (about 30°C) using mild soap. Thoroughly rinse
under the tap and leave in the air to dry, out of direct sunlight.
Notes:
- Do not clean the mask with solutions containing alcohol, aromatic
compounds, humidifiers, antibacterial agents,hydrating agents or
aromatic oils as they would damage the product and reduce its life.
- Do not leave the mask immersed for more than 10 minutes.
- Do not clean the mask in the dishwasher.
- Check carefully all the components to make sure there are no soap
deposits or foreign bodies inside the mask.
7.2 – REPROCESSING THE MASK FOR RE-USE WITH OTHER
PATIENTS
Notes:
- The mask must always be reprocessed before being used by
another patient.
- The headgear (e) must be replaced each time.
The mask can be regenerated up to 20 times, using one of the
following methods:
• high-level thermal disinfection;
• high-level chemical disinfection;
