Powering ON/OFF

Use the following step to power the Unit ON or OFF.
Power the Unit ON: Press
Power the Unit OFF: Highlight and select
Setup Tab
The Main Menu consists of three tabs. The Setup Tab, the Quick Read Tab & the Quick Store Tab. To change any of the units default settings,
use the following Setup Tab instructions. From the Main Menu, highlight and select the Setup tab to access the Setup screen, which is shown in
Figure 8 below.
Language
The Language Menu allows the user to choose from 5 different languages. From the Setup Tab, highlight & select
Menu.
Change the Language: Highlight & select the appropriate language from the list. The Unit will now operate in the chosen language.

Battery Menu

The Battery Menu shows you battery charge status and allows you to adjust the Battery Save wait times for "Auto Power Off" and "Backlight Off".
From the Setup Tab, highlight & Press
Battery Charge Status: The battery charge status automatically appears on the Power Menu screen.
"Auto Power Off" & "Backlight Off" Battery Save Settings: From the Battery Menu screen, press

desired wait time from each list. Press
Return to the Setup Tab: Press
Date & Time
The Date & Time screen allows you to see the date & time as well as set the date & time values & formats. From the Setup Tab, highlight & select
to access the Date & Time screen.
Date or Time Values: Highlight and select either the Date or Time field. The Date or Time is now displayed in editable fields.
Enter the correct figures using the Keypad numbers and the
Date Format or Time Format: Highlight and select either the Date Format or Time Format fields. Highlight and select the desired format.
Return to the Setup Tab: Press
Transducer Templates (EXTA Only)
The Tranducer Templates screen allows you to preset the settings for up to 9 external transducers which can then be recalled while in Quick
Read or Quick Store mode. From the Setup Tab, highlight &, select
between Transducer Templates. To edit any transducer setting, use the
Transducer Type: Highlight and select the transducer type from the list.
Span: Key in the correct Span of your transducer and press
