shoulder. Release the backrest adjustment but-
ton (1) to lock the backrest in position, pic.6.
Car seat use according to Method 2
(Semi-universal Category)
WARNING: If your car is equipped with
Isofix anchor points (see the list of compatible
vehicles), you can install your Aston b.fix child
car seat, using the Isofix connectors, but AL-
WAYS and ONLY in combination with the
car seatbelt.
Aston b.fix Brevi is equipped with plastic runners
B (that you can use if your vehicle does not have
them) to facilitate insertion of the Isofix connec-
tors in the correct position in correspondence
with the anchoring points A of the vehicle's seat.
Once applied, the plastic runners for the connec-
tors should appear as shown in figure 8.
WARNING: when inserting the runners, take
particular care not to apply them in the reverse
direction. Doing so will make connecting the
connectors to anchoring points impossible.
Fitting the child car seat (Semi-Uni-
versal Category)
Insert the two connectors in the plastic runners
and connect the two connectors on the Isofix
anchoring points (Fig. 9). It is important to ve-
rify proper connection of both connectors (you
will clearly hear two distinct "clicks"). Check the
safety indicators (C) located on the sides of the
Isofix connectors. If these are green, the two
connectors have been properly secured.
Release of the Isofix connectors
To release Isofix connectors, from the Isofix
anchor points, press both release devices (D)
as shown in picture 11. To operate in a better
condition, you may move the backrest slightly
upwards.
Care & maintenance - Removing the
fabric cover
To remove the backrest cover, unsnap the four
rear buttons (Pic. 12).
Removing the seat cover: stretch the elasticated
hem of the booster seat cover over the sides of
the booster seat. Slide the cover off the armrests
than carefully pull the cover from the plastic
moulding around the harness release button.
Wash the cover following the instructions on the
washcare label on the cover. Refitting the covers
is the reverse of removal.
Final check list
•
Check that the vehicle seat diagonal belt is in
the correct position for your child.
•
Check that both Isofix connectors, if used,
