Installing and
connecting the
changeover valve
The automatic changeover
valve may not be installed
in EX zone 0 (such as in tank
trucks).
The regulator system must be
installed so that the inlets are at
least at cylinder valve height.
Installing the inlets above
the cylinder valves makes
it more difficult for gas in the
liquid phase to penetrate the
changeover valve, particularly
while driving.

The DuoComfort changeover
valve must always be installed in
such a way that the high-pres-
sure hose connections are ar-
ranged in a horizontal position.

If a limited amount of height
is available in the cylinder box,
we recommend attaching the
DuoComfort changeover valve to
the top of the cylinder box using
an angle union, for example
(part no. 50020-56000).
Male threads M20 x 1.5 (G.13)
connect the inlet side of
DuoComfort to the high pressure
line; a nut M20 x 1.5 (G.13)
connects the outlet side of
DuoComfort to the low pressure
regulator.
