Please heed the following general instructions on handling batter-
ies:
•
Keep children away from the rechargeable batteries. Seek medi-
cal attention immediately if a battery is swallowed.
WARNING!
There is a risk of explosion if rechargeable batteries
are replaced incorrectly.
Replace rechargeable batteries only with the same or
equivalent type.
•
Before inserting the batteries, check that the contacts in the de-
vice and on the batteries are clean, and clean them if necessary.
•
Only insert the batteries supplied.
•
Note the polarity (+/−) when inserting the batteries.
•
Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Strong direct heat can dam-
age the batteries. Therefore, keep the unit away from strong
heat sources.
•
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. If any of
these areas come into contact with battery acid, rinse them im-
mediately with plenty of clean water and consult a doctor as
soon as possible.
•
Do not throw rechargeable batteries into a fire, do not short-cir-
cuit them and do not dismantle them.
