Quality (compression)
The quality setting determines how the recorded data is com-
pressed. The higher the quality, the more storage space the imag-
es require.
Settings
Exposure compensation (EV)
By correcting the exposure value (EV) you can adjust pictures that
would otherwise be too dark or too light.
You can set the value in nine stages between +2.0 EV and -2.0 EV.
The display will show a bar graph with 3 pictures that are used to
balance the exposure.
The left image, for example, shows an exposure correction of −0.3,
the centre image shows the currently selected exposure correction,
and the right image shows an exposure correction of +0.3.
Use a positive value when light conditions are poor and a negative
value in strong light.
