Inserting the batteries

The supplied NiMH batteries are required to operate the camera.
 Switch off the camera, as necessary.
 Push the battery compartment cover in the direction of the ar-
row. The battery compartment opens.
 Insert the batteries, as shown, into the battery compartment.
 Close the battery compartment.
