11. TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
The vacuum cleaner does
not turn on.
The vacuum
no/reduced suction.
During suction from the ap-
pliance, dust comes out.
Should the problems persist, contact an Authorised Polti Service Centre (see www.polti.com
for the up-to-date list) or Customer Services.
CAUSE
No power.
has Flexible hose/telescopic
tube clogged.
Dust-collector over full.
Dust tank not inserted
correctly.
The suction can be adju-
sted on MIN.
Filters clogged
Dust collector not inser-
ted correctly.
Dust-collector over full.
Flexible hose not inser-
ted correctly.
SOLUTION
Check that the appliance is con-
nected to the power as indicated
in Chapter 1.
Remove possible blockages from
the hoses.
Empty the dust collector (see
Chapter 7)
Insert the dust collector correctly
(see Chapter 7)
Increase the adjustment of the
suction.
Clean the filters, as described in
Chapter 8.
Insert the dust collector correctly.
Empty the dust collector.
Insert the flexible tube correctly.
