5.5 Installation of Cable
and Tensioning Assembly
to Bottom Bracket Assembly
1. Install saddle clips loosely around cable attached
to tension rod (see Fig. 6).
2. Slide the tension rod down the cable and through

3. Remove excess cable by pulling cable through the
saddle clips. Tighten and torque saddle clips to
40 to 45 ft. lbs.
