4. Always keep the saw blade sharp. Observe the
maximum speed marked on the saw blade.
5. Do not use saw blades which are damaged or
deformed.
6. Do not use saw blades made of high speed steel.
7. Use only saw blades recommended by HITACHI.
8. The saw blades should be from 235 mm to 260 mm
external diameter ranges.
9. Select saw blades in relation to the material to be
cut.
10. Never operate the compound saw with the saw
blade turned upward or to the side.
11. Ensure that the workpiece is free of foreign matter
such as nails.
12. Replace table insert when worn.
13. Do not use the saw to cut other than aluminium,
wood or similar materials.

Ensure that the power source to be utilized conforms
to the power requirements specified on the product
