CLEANING AND mAINTENANCE - General
Clean the appliance and the loose parts thoroughly after each use:
Switching off
1. Switch off the deep fryer by turning the temperature control dial to MIN, the timer dial to OFF and discon-
necting the plug from the wall socket.
2. Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
Lid and filters
3. Lift the frying basket's handle to the horizontal position so that it locks into place.
4. Press the lid release button to open the lid. The lid will automatically open to the vertical position.
5. Take the frying basket from the pan.
6. Take the lid off the deep fryer by sliding the vertical lid backwards (see figure 5).
7. Take the filters out of the lid.
8. Replace the filters or clean them in hot washing-up water and then dry thoroughly.
9. Clean the lid and the frying basket in hot washing-up water or a dishwasher and then dry thoroughly.
Control panel and power adapter
10. Take out the control panel / heating element by
lifting it up.
11. Take out the power adapter by sliding it back-
wards.
12. Clean them with a damp cloth.
Inner pan
13. Take out the inner pan by lifting it up.
14. Pour the oil or liquid fat into a receptacle. Prefe-
rence is given to handing in frying oil and liquid
fat to your municipality; these can be reused for
other purposes.
15. Use kitchen paper to dry the interior of the deep
fryer, and clean with a damp cloth and a drop of
washing-up liquid.
Housing
16. Clean the housing with a damp cloth and a drop of washing-up liquid. Dry the housing thoroughly.
17. Reassemble the deep fryer.
18. Store the deep fryer.
