Step Turning the resistors on
a)
Ensure that the vat is full of oil to the MAXIMUM level (Fig 3)
b)
Press the power switch situated on the outside of the appliance.
c)
Rotate the "M" thermostat control clockwise to the machine connected position (Fig 4, No. 2)
so that the light turns on "(L1).-" (green).
d)
Then to turn the machine on, turn the thermostat control clockwise to the required position,
(Fig 4, No. 3 and 4) depending on the temperature you want to reach.
e)
Light "(L2).-" (amber) will come on when the resistors are working.
f)
When the oil in the vat reaches the selected temperature, the resistors (by means of the
thermostat) stop working and the "L2" lamp (amber) turns off. Likewise, when the
temperature drops under the selected value, the resistors start to work, and light
"(L2).-" (amber) turns on.

Step Turning the resistors off
Rotate the "M" thermostat control anticlockwise to the off position (Fig. 2, No. 1), and light "(L1).-" (green)
will turn off.
Initial cleaning
After installing the appliance, and before filling the vat with oil, it is necessary to fill it with soapy
water, which should be left to boil for a few minutes. Next, empty the vat and rinse it as many
times as necessary, to eliminate the remains of soap.
Empty the baskets before cleaning the tub, the rack, and basket holder. Then rotate the resistors, lifting
them up at the front and locking them with a locking bar. This bar is behind the door, fixed to the
switchboard.
Daily cleaning
In order for the appliance to work as new, it is advisable to follow the following instructions:
Do not use gritty and abrasive detergents for cleaning.
Do not use a water hose to clean the appliance.
It is advisable to regularly clean the inner part of the vat with soapy water that will be left to boil for a few
minutes, and then rinse it with plenty of water.
It is important that as soon as the vat has been cleaned and before filling it with oil, it be completely dry
without a sign of water.
IMPORTANT NOTE :
The replacement of any functional component that can affect the safety of the appliance must be
carried out by an AUTHORISED
switch is turned off when replacing any functional component.
