6.2 Preparation
Directly after each treatment, all parts of the PARI LL nebuliser must be
cleaned of medication residue and contamination. To do this, dismantle the
nebuliser into its individual parts (as described in the following).
Figure A:
• Detach the mouthpiece (11) or the mask (13), the inspiratory valve (1) and
the chamber (3) from the nebuliser.
• Remove the valve shim (2) from the inspiratory valve.
• Unscrew the nebuliser upper section (4) from the nebuliser lower
section (8).
• Push the medication cup (5) up as far as the windows and then pull it out
of the nebuliser lower section.
• Press the nozzle (9) together with the airflow control (10) down and out of
the medication cup.
• Pull the airflow control up and off from the nozzle.
• Turn the interrupter button clockwise as far as it will go.

6.3.1
Cleaning
• Remove the tubing from the nebuliser and dismantle the nebuliser (see
Chapter 6.2 "Preparation").
Refer to Section 6.3.5 for care of the connection tubing.
Recommended method: Use warm tap water
• Clean all parts of the nebuliser thoroughly for 5 minutes with warm tap
water (approx. 40°C) and a little dishwashing liquid (dosage according to
the manufacturer's recommendations).
• Then rinse all parts thoroughly under warm running water (approx. 40°C
without dishwashing liquid).
• Drain off well.
You can remove excess water more quickly by shaking the parts.
