TRANSMITTERS
Up to 12 Transmitters can be memorised on a single Free-Max. To do so a
FIRST Transmitter must have already been memorised following the procedure
described in paragraph 4.2 (follow the instructions in paragraph 4.1 in order to
check this condition).
Finally, decide which of the four following procedures to use to memorise addi-
tional Transmitters on Free-Max based on your requirements.
Memorisation of a NEW Transmitter in MODE 1, when an

old and already memorised transmitter is available
Caution! – The following procedure memorises the NEW Transmitter in
"Mode 1", regardless of the Mode in which the OLD Transmitter was
memorised. Therefore it is NOT important to know the old Transmitter
memorisation mode to carry out the procedure.
01. Press and hold down key ■ of the NEW Trans-
mitter, for at least 8 seconds, then release the
(New) (8"...)
key (Note – the motor makes no motion in this
case).
02. Press any memorised key of an OLD Transmit-
ter 3 times.

03. Press key ■ of the NEW Transmitter once.
(New)
04. The motor will then perform 3 LONG motions
(= memorisation complete).

Note – If the motor performs 6 LONG motions
this means that the memory is full (= 12 trans-
mitters already memorised).

Memorisation of a NEW Transmitter in MODE 1, when no

old Transmitter is available
Caution! – The following procedure allows memorisation of a Transmitter
in "Mode 1", without the need of an old Transmitter (...no longer available
because broken or lost for example).
Caution! – The ACTIVATION CODE is required in order to carry out the
procedure (sequence of ▼ and ▲ symbols), which is indicated on the
label stuck to the back of the manual (cover).
IMPORTANT – Each Free-Max has its own code, made up of a sequence
of symbols that are different from those on other Free-Max devices.
Therefore, use this Free-Max code for the following procedure.
01. Press and hold down key ■ of the NEW Trans-
mitter, for at least 8 seconds, then release the

02. Press (within 5 seconds) the keys related to

Note – If the motor performs 6 LONG motions
this means that the memory is full (= 12 trans-
mitters already memorised). Whereas, if the
motor does not perform any motion, repeat
the procedure paying greater attention when
pressing the Transmitter keys.
