STOPPAGE ALERTS AND HOW TO DEAL WITH THEM
If necessary, the reason for any stove stoppage can be shown on the display.
1) Broken PTC H20
Check the probe connection to the pcb. Run a test when the stove is cold to check that it is functioning.
2) No Expulsion
- Check whether the smoke extractor is functioning (rpm sensor connections).
- Check that the smoke flue is clean.
3) No fire
stoppage caused by sudden reduction in smoke temperature (cuts in if the thermocouple detects a smoke temperature
lower than a value set, interpreting this as absence of flame).
The flame may have cut out because:
- there are no pellets left;
- the flame has been suffocated by an excess supply of pellets in the combustion chamber;
- the maximum temperature thermostat / pressure gauge / water safety thermostat has cut in to "stop" the gear system.
.
4) No start
stoppage caused by incorrect smoke temperature during ignition phase (cuts in if no flame appears and the ignition
temperature is not reached in a maximum time lapse of 15 minutes).
You must distinguish between these two cases:
NO flame has appeared
Check:
- the position and cleanliness of the
combustion hearth
- whether the resistance is functioning
- the room temperature: if it is less than 3°C,
you need a firelighter.
5) Blocco black-out
Check the power connections and whether there has been a power cut.
6) Termok broken
Check the connections between the thermocouple and the pcb. Run a test when the stove is cold to check that it is functioning.
7) Over temp
stoppage caused when the maximum smoke temperature is exceeded.
An excessive smoke temperature may be caused by: use of an unsuitable type of pellets, a breakdown in the smoke extraction
system, obstructions in the smoke flue, incorrect stove installation, gear running out of true.
8) Alarm temp H20
An excessive water temperature may be caused by:
The heating system is too small for the stove: call in the Dealer to activate the ECO function;
A blockage: clean the exchanger pipes, the combustion chamber and the smoke flue.
9) No Depression
The flow may be insufficient if the door is open:
- poor door seal (e.g. gasket),
- problem of air suction or smoke expulsion,
- the combustion chamber is blocked,
- the flow sensor is dirty (clean with dry air).
Check the flow sensor threshold. Call in the Dealer to adjust the stove parameters.
The low pressure ("Depression") alarm may also cut in during the ignition phase.
RTCRD Error
The heating stove will not stop, but this message appears on the display. The buffer battery on the pcb must be replaced.
stoppage caused by broken or disconnected water temperature probe.
stoppage caused by anomaly on the smoke expulsion motor rpm sensor.
There is a flame, but the word "Start" is followed on the display by
"Start Failed"
Call in the Dealer to check
- Whether the thermocouple is functioning
- The ignition temperature set in the stove parameters
stoppage caused by a power cut.
stoppage caused by a broken or disconnected thermocouple.
stoppage caused when the water temperature exceeds 90°C.
(cuts in when the flow sensor detects an insufficient flow of combustion air).
