5. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Gas from the medical gas pipeline system is entering through the inlet con-
nector (A). Flow is then adjusted to the request-
ed value by turning handwheel (B), which con-
trols the valve for flow regulation. The adjusted
flow is visible on the calibrated tube via the float
(C). Gas flows through the tube, when constant
flow is adjusted, the float is stabilized in a cer-
tain position (a certain flow on the scale). Gas
is delivered to the user through the flow outlet
user connection (D).
A. INLET QUICK CONNECTOR
The flowmeter is fitted to the medical gas pipe-
line system terminal unit or to medical regulator
by a gas specific male probe for specific gas.
There are two basic variants:
1 – inlet connector is directly mounted on the
flowmeter,
2 – connection to the rail, including hose and
inlet connector.
