Connecting the hose
NOTICE:
Never force the hose for bending or stamp it.
Never move the cleaner by a hose. F orc ing, stamping and pull-
ing th e h ose may c ause a breakage or d ef ormation of th e h ose.
NOTICE:
W hen picking up large wastes such as planer
carvings, concrete dusts or similar other than small
wastes, use the 38 mm inner diameter hose (optional
accessory ) . U sing t h e 2 8 mm inner d iameter h ose ( optional
accessory) may cause a hose stuffing and damage.
I nsert t h e h ose onto t h e mounting port o f t h e tank an d
turn it c lo c k w ise until it lo c ks.

Do not disassemble or tamper with the
wireless unit.

Always close the lid of the wireless unit
in the tool when operating or storage.

tool while the power is being supplied to the tool.

Tool registration for the cleaner
NOTE: A Makita tool supporting t h e w ireless a c ti v a-
tion f un c tion is re q uire d f or t h e tool registration.
NOTE: F inis h installing t h e w ireless unit to t h e tool
be f ore starting t h e tool registration.
NOTE: D uring t h e tool registration, d o not pull t h e
s w it c h trigger on t h e tool or turn on t h e po w er s w it c h
on t h e c leaner.
NOTE: R e f er to t h e instru c tion manual o f t h e tool, too.
I f y ou w ish to ac tiv ate th e c leaner along w ith th e sw itc h
operation of the tool, finish the tool registration beforehand.

I f t h e c leaner an d t h e tool are linke d su c c ess f ull y , t h e
w ireless a c ti v ation lamps w ill lig h t up in green f or 2
se c on d s an d start blinking in blue.
NOTE: The wireless activation lamps finish blinking
in green a f ter 20 se c on d s elapse d . P ress t h e w ireless
a c ti v ation button on t h e tool w h ile t h e w ireless a c ti-
v ation lamp on t h e c leaner is blinking. I f t h e w ireless
a c ti v ation lamp d oes not blink in green, pus h t h e w ire-
less activation button briefly and hold it down again.
NOTE: W h en per f orming t w o or more tool registration
for the cleaner, finish the tool registration one by one.
Starting the wireless activation function
