6.5.3 Adjusting the anti-spatter fluid
WARNING
Damage to the eyes
When spraying with anti-spatter fluid a spray mist may form that can damage the eyes.
• Always wear safety goggles when manually adjusting the anti-spatter fluid.

Mechanical adjustment
To adjust the spraying quantity, the system must be supplied with compressed air. The injection volume is determined by the
dwell time of the welding torch.
WARNING
Risk of crushing
Limbs can be drawn in and crushed by moving parts (reamer, clamping unit).
• Keep your hands away from moving parts.
NOTICE
• Ensure that the welding torch/gas nozzle is positioned concentrically over the injection unit.
1 Move the welding torch (1) over the injection opening.
2 Move the welding torch (1) slowly downward (in the direction of the arrow). This 'opens' the rubber seal (2). The welding
torch's immersion depth is limited by the injection unit's stroke.
3 Move the front side of the gas nozzle (3) against the thrust ring (4).
Move the welding torch further down to activate the injection pulse.
