CT Variations

• Leviton solid core CTs (Figure 2, left photo): In accordance with CT label, the
LINE side of CT must face incoming Line. White lead connects to the appropriate
X2 terminal. Black or colored lead connects to the appropriate X1 terminal. CTs
are color coded (black/white and red/white or black/black and black/gray) to help
maintain correct phasing.
• Leviton split core CTs (Figure 2, right photo): The side with the white labels
(facing up in the photo) must face the incoming LINE. White wire connects to X2
terminal, colored wire connects to X1 terminal.
