9. Maintenance
Use only original spare parts.
components can damage the equipment and is not covered by
the manufacturer.
9.1 Pretreatment replacement
- Turn off the water supply to the equipment.
- Remove right side cover to access the pretreatment
cartridges [1] and [2].
- Release the cartridges by disconnecting them from the
top connection of the equipment.
- Open the cartridges using the spanner wrench supplied
with the equipment
- Empty the cartridges and place the spare parts
- Replace the cartridge cover and tighten them
- Connect the cartridges to the equipment by the quick
connections.
- Reset the hour meter to zero (see 8.3.3)
- Turn on the water supply to the equipment.
9.2 Resin cartridge replacement
Follow the same procedures as when replacing the
pretreatment cartridges.
Long Life resin cartridges: In equipment with Long Life resin
cartridges, the entire cartridge is replaced. Spare parts are
supplied without fittings: Remove the fittings from the used
cartridges and place them in the new cartridges:
- Remove used cartridges
- Unscrew the fittings, loosening them with the spanner
wrench.
- Place the fittings in the new cartridges
- Tighten the fitting with a spanner wrench
- Place the cartridges in the equipment
