5.2 Charging

How to charge:

Switch off the Mobile Workstation MAX and the equipment connected to it by pressing the On/Off
switch at the front (switch light turns off)

Open the rear panel of the Mobile Workstation MAX and plug the charger connection cable into a
stationery, shockproof 120 V AC socket. This initiates the charging process (indicator LED lights up
in red)

Charge for approximately 8 to 12 hours to charge fully

When successfully charged, the charger switches to charge holding (indicator LED lights up in
green) automatically

Disconnect the plug, put the charger connection cable back behind the rear panel of the Mobile
Workstation MAX and close the rear panel
The Mobile Workstation MAX is now ready for operation.
While charging the Mobile Workstation MAX, you can see the current status on the LED at the front of the
Mobile Workstation MAX.

Check the charging cable for visible damage before charging.
Ensure the room in which the Mobile Workstation MAX is charged is adequately
ventilated!
Ensure that no inflammable materials or spark-generating equipment are within a
radius of at least 10 feet of the Mobile Workstation MAX during charging!
Keep fire extinguishing equipment ready!
Do not place metal objects on top of the batteries!
Plugging the charger connecting cable into the Mobile Workstation MAX socket
strip will not charge the batteries!
The ambient temperature during charging must be at least 15 °C/59 °F in order to
achieve a sufficient charging status within the specified charging time of hours.
