USER STANDARDS
• COMMISSIONING
At the end of installation, fill the heat
exchanger with water for domestic use
and for heating as follows:
- Fill with water for heating and bleed the
system;
- Fill with water for domestic use by
means of the cold water inlet and bleed
by opening the hot water drawing point.
- Install the thermostatic device in the
appropriate seat envisioned on the sto-
rage tank.
- Switch on the boiler.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before performing any maintenance ope-
ration, empty the appliance.
• GENERAL INDICATIONS
- Clean the external parts of the heat
exchanger with a damp cloth using
water and if necessary, add liquid soap;
- Do not use powder detergents or sol-
vents (any type of abrasives, petrol or
similar);
- Check the condition of the protection
anode at least once a year;
- If installing in areas subject to frost, the
appliance must be kept in function or
completely emptied;
• INSPECTION AND INTERNAL
CLEANING OF THE TANK
To clean the inside of the tank, empty
the appliance and remove the lid by
unscrewing the screws of the plastic
cover. Disassemble the counter flange
of the inspection opening. During clea-
ning, pay attention not to damage the

• FILLING THE COIL
The exchange coil of the appliance is con-
nected to the boiler circuit therefore, to
guarantee the circulation of fluid inside the
appliance, make sure the internal water
pressure of the boiler is sufficient for its
correct functioning.
N.B: for a correct functioning of the boiler,
consult the relative instructions.
• FILLING THE APPLIANCE
To carry out this operation, provide the
system with a loading cock of the domestic
enamelling of the tank and of the heat
exchanger (coil).
Cleaning can be carried by using jets of
water aided by an adequate plastic or
wooden tool to eliminate the most resi-
stant sedimentation. Reassemble the
flange with the relative gaskets on the
inspection openings checking the condi-
tion (if necessary, use a new gasket).
Consider that the counter flange with
8 holes uses M8 nuts with a coupling
torque equal to 8Nxm. Fill the appliance
according to the commissioning instruc-
tions and check the seal.
• CHECK ANODES
The appliance is protected from corrosion
by means of a glass porcelain coating of
the internal surfaces and the exchange coil.
The heat exchanger is equipped with a
magnesium anti corrosive protection
anode that protects against eddy currents
that could damage it: the duration depen-
ds on the function and the quality of the
hot water circuit network. Open the heat
exchanger loading cock (above) and bleed
the circuit by opening the drawing point.
• EMPTYING THE APPLIANCE
To empty the appliance, close the loading
cock from the network, connect a hose to
the drain connection and place the other
end in an area provided with an external
drain. Open a drawing point and let the
water flow out. Open the drain connection
and complete emptying.
water. The anode can be inspected (carry
out inspection at least once a year) and
can be replaced.
In order to control and/or replace, empty
the storage tank as indicated above and
remove the black plastic lid located at the
superior bottom of the storage tank.
In order to remove the anode, unscrew
the plug from 2" (coupling torque 25-30
Nxm). After inspection and/or replace-
ment, check the seal of the storage tank.
Replace with spare parts only.
