Fault/Alarm
A0050:
The NTC temperature sensors located in
IGBT High
the IGBTs detected a high temperature
Temperature
alarm.
Note:
It can be disabled by setting
P0353 = 2 or 3.
F0051:
The NTC temperature sensors located in
IGBT
the IGBTs detected a high temperature
Overtemperature
fault.
F0065
Feedback obtained via encoder does not
Encoder Signal
match the commanded speed.
Fault (SW)
The fault can be disabled via parameter
P0358.
F0066
Feedback obtained via encoder does not
Encoder Signal
match the commanded speed.
Fault (SW)
The fault can be disabled via parameter
P0358.
F0067:
Fault related to the phase relationship
Inverted Encoder/
between the encoder signals, if
Motor Wiring
P0202 = 5 and P0408 = 2, 3 or 4.
Note:
- It is not possible to reset this fault (when
P0408>1).
- In this case, turn off the power supply,
solve the problem, and then turn it on
again.
- When P0408 = 0, it is possible to reset
this fault. This fault could be disabled by
means of parameter P0358.
F0070:
An overcurrent or a short-circuit at the
Overcurrent/
output, at the DC link or at the braking
Short-circuit
resistor, has occurred.
F0071:
An output overcurrent has occurred.
Output Overcurrent
F0072:
The motor overload protection has
Motor Overload
tripped.
Note:
It can be disabled by setting
P0348 = 0 or 3.
F0074:
A ground fault occurred either in the
Ground Fault
cable between the inverter and the motor
or in the motor itself.
Note:
It can be disabled by setting P0343 = 0.
F0078:
Fault related to the PTC temperature
Motor
sensor installed in the motor.
Note:
Overtemperature
- It can be disabled by setting
P0351 = 0 or 3.
- An analog input and an analog output
must be set for the PTC function.

Description
Possible Causes
High surrounding air temperature (>50 °C (122 °F))
and high output current.
Blocked or defective fan.
Very dirty heatsink.
Wiring between encoder and encoder interface
accessory interrupted.
Encoder is defective.
Encoder coupling to the motor is broken.
Inverter operating in current limit (In case the
application needs to run in such condition, this
fault should be disabled via parameter P0358).
Wiring between encoder and encoder interface
accessory interrupted.
Encoder is defective.
Encoder coupling to the motor is broken.
I nverter operating in current limit (In case the
application needs to run in such condition, this
fault should be disabled via parameter P0358).
Output motor cables U, V, W are inverted.
Encoder channels A and B are inverted.
Error in the encoder mounting position.
Motor with locked rotor or dragging at the start.
Short-circuit between two motor phases.
Short-circuit between the dynamic braking resistor
connection cables.
Shorted IGBT modules.
Excessive load inertia or too short acceleration
ramp.
P0135, or P0169 and P0170 settings are too high.
The settings of P0156, P0157 and P0158 are too
low for the used motor.
There is excessive load at the motor shaft.
Short-circuit to the ground in one or more output
phases.
Motor cable capacitance is too large, resulting in
current peaks at the output.
Excessive load at the motor shaft.
Severe duty cycle (too many Starts/Stops per
minute).
Too high surrounding air temperature.
Loose connection or short-circuit (resistance < 100 Ω)
in the wiring connected to the motor thermistors.
Not installed motor thermistors.
Blocked motor shaft.
