Intended use
The device is intended for cleaning and polishing oxide and
burn stains on precious metals, which have developed
during welding and cutting. Only original Würth cleaning
and polishing agents may be used.
However, the device may not be used for steels that react
particularly sensitive to the electrolyte being used, e.g., ALSI
430, which can lead to the formation of white rings.
When in doubt, please refer to your Würth representative or
carry out a test on a sample first.
For damage caused by usage other than intended, the user
is responsible.
When using the marking set, which is available as an
additional accessory, the device is intended for marking and
eroding of steel.
Transport and working position

Transport
The machine can be manually moved with the handle 3
located on its frontal part.
Working position
During the working operations, it is possible to extract the
folding feet 4 in order to recline the machine.
Keep clean the working area.
The machine must be kept in a dry and safe place.
Installation of extension sleeve for
torch support (Picture. V )
During the use of the brush 18, it is necessary install the
extension 20 on the torch support 12.
Insert the extension 20 on the torch support 12 as

indicated in the picture.
Turn the extension 20 90° counterclockwise.

Before putting into operation
Protective functions
The device is switched off automatically in case of thermal
overload. The device automatically switches on again as
soon as the temperature is in the normal range.
In case of short circuiting between scraper and workpiece,
the current flow is automatically disconnected and not re-
established until after the short circuit has been corrected.

Loosen screw 22 with Allen key 21

Insert graphite insert 15 into the opening on the torch
10 and tighten screw 22 again.

Put the pad 16 on the insert 15.

Install the adapter 17 on the torch 10 and fix it with the
screw 22.

Screw brush 18 on the adapter 17.

Move the brush sleeve to regulate the length of the carbon
fibres 18 (Max.15mm).
Filling-in cleaning/polishing solution (Picture

Unscrew lid from tube 11 and pull off the protective
foil.

Attach tube 11 to torch 10 and tighten.
Connecting the torch / device (Picture

Connect the ground cable 13 into the red socket 5 and
put the ground clamp on the stainless steel workpiece.
Ensure proper contact.

Connect one terminal of the torch power cable 14 into
the black socket 6 and the other terminal into the
connector of the torch 10.
Insert plug of mains cable 1 into socket outlet.
