6.11 HOOD LINER
For constructing the hood liner it is recommended to
use flame retardant plasterboard .
The control unit of the ventilation kit, if provided, must be
installed before constructing the hood liner.
• During the construction of the hood it is essential to
protect the frame of the sliding door with nylon (Fig.
6.10). This is to prevent dust, mortars or other foreign
bodies from penetrating between the bushings and the
guides blocking the sliding of the door itself. After the
work is completed, remove this protection through the
aeration grids.
Before carrying out the final assembly it will be appropriate
to carry out a fumes test , i.e. test the operation of the
fireplace.
