8.5 CLEANING THE FIREPLACE
To obtain an optimum draft, the cleaning of the flue must be made before the operation period of the fireplace and every time
it is noted that inside the duct there is a layer of soot and varnish, substance that can easily ignite.
The cleaning must be carried out by removing the metal fumes deflector.
When the incrustations reach a thickness of 5-6 mm with high temperatures and sparks can ignite with easily imaginable
consequences both for the flue and for the house.
It is therefore recommended to have it clean at least once a year by specialized personnel.
Figure 18 shows the smoke path, for cleaning follow the instructions attached to the "Product Booklet" annexed.
