Non-standard installations
One of the unique features of heat-pump
heating systems is that they create a
considerable drop in the temperature of the
air usually expelled outdoors. The expelled
air, in addition to being colder than the air in
the environment, is also fully dehumidified.
For this reason, the flow of air can be fed
back inside the building again to cool rooms
or spaces in the summer. A dual air outlet
pipe is installed, with two dampers attached
(A and B), so as to be able to direct the air
flow either indoors (Fig. 5a) or outdoors (Fig.
5b).
