Inflation:
1. In case of inflation, open air plug cover and confirm that air plug is screwed tightly, then put air tube into air plug.
2. When boat is inflated, please inflate two air chambers in turn in times until both air chambers are full, which can leave relatively balanced pressure in both air chambers and
avoid damage to inflatable boat.
3. When boat is inflated, attention shall be paid to pressure-scale in the region of air-plug from time to time. Following certain pressure within boat body, cylinder piston in
pressure-scale hole shall move slowly outward, when cylinder piston outside end is at the same level with that of boat surface, it indicates that pressure within boat has reached
rated standard, as a consequence, inflating shall be stopped immediately.
4. Inflate the inflatable floor.
Notes:
-Only use Bestway
approved inflation pumps.
®
-Never use motor-driven high-pressure air pumps as this may result in over-inflation.
-When inflating the boat, check the Pressure Gauge and ensure the reading never exceeds the rated pressure 0.075 bars. Whilst bottom chamber maximal pressure shall not
be more than 0.048 bars.
-Under and over-inflation will result in safety hazards.
-Always check the inflation pressure before using the boat.
-If the boat becomes over-inflated, slightly unscrew the screw valve to reduce air pressure to acceptable levels of 0.075 bars. Be
sure to re-seal the screw valve.
-Never stand on or rest objects on the boat during inflation.
Oars Installation
1. Join the two shafts of the oars together with the Couplers and securely tighten the Couplers Covers. (FIG. 3)
Note: Completely insert the shafts into the Couplers or damage may occur.
2. Attach the Oar Blade to the end of the shaft and tighten the Coupler.
3. Attach the oars to the oarlocks and lock them into position. (FIG. 4 & 5)
Note: When the oars are not in use, lock the oars into the Oar Clasps to avoid damage.
How to install safety rope:
Please put safety rope through rope grommets and all round holes on tow handle in turn as per FIG 1, to make safety rope surround each side of inflatable boat, then fasten
safety rope.
Caution:
1. Safety rope must go through rope grommets and all round holes of tow handle in a correct way.
2. Please carefully check whether safety rope is in perfect condition and fastened tightly prior to each use.
Cushion installation:
Following cushion inflating, rope shall be used to connect rope grommets on both sides of cushion and rope grommets inside boat.
Outboard Motor Installation
With the boat fully inflated and in the water, attach your outboard motor onto Engine Mount at the center of the Stern.
Note:
-Read the instruction of outboard motor for correct installation and operation.
Storage
1. Remove the Oars from the oarlocks.
Note: Keep all accessories for future use.
2. Carefully clean the boat using a mild soap with clean water.
Note: Do not use acetone, acid, and/or alkaline solutions.
3. Do not dry the product in direct sunlight.
Note: Also, never dry with equipment such as electric blowers. Doing so will cause damage and shorten the boat's life span.
4. To deflate, open the screw valves pushing the control stem in and rotating until the valves stay open. Deflate all the hull chambers at the same time so the air-pressure
drops together. This will prevent damage from occurring to the boat inner structures.
5. Next deflate the floor.
6. Fold the boat from front to back to remove additional air. You can also use a pump to drain any remaining air.
Caution
1. When landing on the shore, carry the boat. Do not tow it on the sand or ground as damage may occur.
2. If you use tow rings to tow the boat, go slowly to avoid over-towing as damage may occur.
Safety Guideline
Follow all the Safety and Operating Instructions. If you don't follow this instructions, it may cause overturn, explode the boat and causes to drowning.
1. When using the boat, life saving devices such as life jackets and buoys should be pre-inspected and used at all times.
2. Before every use, carefully inspect all boat components including air-chambers, grab ropes, oars, and air valves, to ensure everything is in good condition and tightly
secured. Please stop to repair if you find any damage.
3. Buckets, water scoops and air pumps should always be available in case of air leakage or if the boat takes on water.
4. Passenger numbers and load weights shall by no means exceed specified capacities. Refer to the Technical Specifications section of this manual to determine passenger
numbers and load weights for your boat. Overweight will cause overturn and drowning.
5. When the boat is in motion, all passengers must remain seated at all times to avoid going overboard.
6. Use the boat near the shore and beware of natural factors such as wind, tidewaters and tidal waves. Be aware of offshore winds and currents.
7. Be careful when landing on the shore. Sharp and rough objects such as rocks, cement, shells, glass, etc. may puncture the boat.
8. Bestway
inflatable boats are equipped with three air chambers. If one chamber is punctured when the boat is in the water, it may be necessary to fully inflate the other air
®
chamber to prevent the boat from sinking.
9. To avoid damage do not drag the boat on rough surfaces.
10. Don't leave the boat exposed to sun for long periods of time, as high temperatures shall give rise to air expansion, which can cause irreparable damage.
11. When choosing an outboard motor, refer to the Technical Specifications section of this manual to determine acceptable horsepower ratings.
12. For electrical motors equipped with batteries, note that battery acid can be caustic, which can cause damage to both skin and boat materials.
13. For motors use fuel such as gas, oil, petrol, since fuel is a flammable substance and should be kept away from open flames. Further, clean the boat material immediately if
fuel spatters onto the boat surface.
14. Inflate according the numbered air chamber and rated pressure on the boat, or it will cause overinflation and boat explosion.
15. Keep the boat balanced. Uneven distribution of persons or load in the boat may cause overturn the boat and drowning.
16. Be responsible, do not neglect the safety rules, this could jeopardize your life and the lives of others.
17. Follow these instructions to avoid drowning, paralysis or other serious injuries.
Repairs
1. If there is a leak, spray water onto the boat's surface and look for air bubbles. Soapy water works well.
2. Using the provided heavy-duty repair patch and vinyl cement, dry the damaged area, apply the vinyl cement and stick the repair patch into place.
Smooth out any air bubbles.
