saFety note:
With the set-up, operation and use of the
scanner the following safety instructions are
to be observed:
_ The device was developed and manufactured
with utmost care, according to the valid
safety standards. Nevertheless it is not possible
to entirely exclude the risk of technical
defects which may occur with individual
components in the wake of incidences, such as
electrical shock, overheating or fire.
_ Therefore, switch-off the device if it is no
longer required, or in cases whereby the device
is unattended for longer periods of time, e.g.
overnight. This is equally beneficial to the
environment, as it will also save electric power.
_ In the case of damage or a functional defect
of the scanner, the device has to be labelled
defect and may not be used until it has been
repaired.
